Spring Into Safety: Sancton Access Expands Swing Stage Training Offering
As spring approaches and construction activity ramps up across the region, companies are preparing their teams, projects, and equipment for a busy season ahead. At Sancton Access, we know that when it comes to working at heights, preparation starts with one thing: safety. That’s why we’re proud to announce the addition of a new 1-Day Swing Stage Competent Operator course, expanding our training offerings to better support our customers and industry partners.
Working on swing stages leaves no room for shortcuts. Insufficient training continues to be one of the leading contributing factors in serious incidents. Our goal is simple: to ensure every worker has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to do the job safely and correctly.
Expanding Training to Meet Industry Needs
In addition to our comprehensive 2-Day Competent Installer & Operator program, this new 1-day course is designed for workers who operate, inspect, or perform tasks on swing stages. It provides focused, hands-on instruction to reinforce safe work practices, hazard awareness, and compliance with CSA standards and provincial regulations. Both programs emphasize:
- Real-world application using actual equipment
- Small class sizes for more effective, personalized instruction
- Thorough understanding of setup, inspection, and safe operation
- Hazard recognition and emergency preparedness
