Responsibilities
  • Assist in the erect, modify, and dismantle of scaffolding structures, swing stages, or mast climbing work platforms according to project specifications
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate scaffolding requirements
  • Load and unload scaffolding materials and equipment
  • Participate in on-the-job training and safety courses provided, where applicable

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided by the Local Union
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols (on-the-job training to be provided)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites

Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of construction principles
  • Experience in manual labour or outdoor work
