Last week, our team proudly took part in the 2025 Great Big Dig for the IWK, held on November 15 at the Halifax Convention Centre. As a returning Gold Sponsor, Sancton was thrilled to join this unforgettable night of community, generosity, and purpose.An Incredible Evening for a Vital Cause
The atmosphere was electric—great food, exciting entertainment, and a powerful sense of community spirit. But most importantly, this year’s event raised funds to support the purchase of the O-Arm surgical imaging system, a major advancement for pediatric orthopedic surgery at the IWK Health Centre.The O-Arm provides real-time 2D and 3D imaging, enabling surgeons to perform complex spinal surgeries with incredible precision. It’s the new gold standard in safe pediatric spinal deformity surgery, and nearly every children’s hospital in Canada already uses this system.
