Suspended Scaffold
(Swing Stage) Training

An Accredited Training Institute for the SAIA (Scaffold & Access Industry Association), an industry standard since 1992.

Suspended Scaffold Competent Person

2-Day Course
This comprehensive training explains how to set up, operate, and
inspect suspended work platforms, also known as swing stages.
The student completing this class will understand the basics of using
suspended equipment safely. Hands-on training will allow participants to apply what they have learned. After successfully passing a written exam (grade of 75% needed), the SAIA will issue a three-year certificate.

Students will learn all about the tools they need to:
-Create a safer workplace for employees and customers.
-Understand and meet government requirements.
-Fulfill competent person training requirements.
-Offer employees a structure for career advancement.


Maximum of eight students per course.
Course dates are to be arranged depending on demand.

As a fully Fraco certified Training Centre, we have the ability to issue Fraco Certifications for Level 1 and Level 2 A&B

FRACO Level 1 Operator

1/2-Day Course
Participants must demonstrate their capacity to adequately operate the platform while respecting all the safety instructions.

Participants must attain a 70% passing grade on the safety measures exam in order to receive the certificate of qualification, as well as demonstrate to the trainer in charge their understanding of their errors. The certificate is valid for a period of five (5) years and is non-transferable.


FRACO Level 2 A&B Install/Dismantle

4-Day Course
Level 2A: Installation (freestanding base)
Participants must demonstrate their capacity to install and dismantle a work platform on a freestanding base while respecting all the safety instructions.

Level 2B: Installation (anchoring)
Participants must demonstrate their capacity to install and dismantle a work platform by using the anchoring system for ground bases while respecting all the safety instructions.

Participants must attain a 70% passing grade on the safety measures exam in order to receive the certificate of qualification, as well as demonstrate to the trainer in charge their understanding of their errors. The certificate is valid for a period of five (5) years and is non-transferable.
